Rangers fans sent Champions League warning ahead of Liverpool clash with travel chaos hitting road to Anfield

Rangers fans have been handed a warning over their upcoming Champions League trip to Liverpool. Rangers make the trip on the back of two heavy defeats in their opening who Champions League group stage clashes against Ajax on the road and Napoli under the Ibrox lights.

And now the tricky task of facing a double header against Jurgen Klopp's side, last year's finalist, is pending. The two games kick off with a trip to Anfield on the evening of October 4.

And there will be a lot of fans making the journey in the hopes of a Champions League upset in Merseyside. However, the travelling support have been issued with a warning regarding their journey to Liverpool.It comes as rail workers' union ASLEF announced strike action on October, with supporter liaison officer, Greg Marshall, taking to social media advise punters.He Tweeted: "Supporters traveling to Liverpool: Please note, due to potential industrial action on 05 October 2022, supporters are advised not to travel by rail for this fixture."Further travel information will be available following our stadium visit next week."
