Hamilton Accies’ forward Callum Smith reckons the steep learning curve against Motherwell and Rangers has prepared him first-team success.
The attacker is hoping to work his way into Brian Rice’s starting line-up this weekend as Accies’ return to Scottish Premiership action against Livingston.
The 20-year-old, who was playing for Airdrieonians in League One last term, is raring to go if handed a start at The Tony Macaroni Arena after his early-season experiences.
