The 22-year-old watched his fellow Finn impress at Dundee and earn his first caps for his country before a big move to Govan arrived in 2019.
Virtanen has represented his nation at under-19 and under-21 level and, having left Aberdeen this month to pursue first team opportunities, he has hailed Kamara for showing what can be achieved, as he aims to catch the eye of Finland boss Markku Kanerva.
