Death In Paradise, has come down on those who decide to criticise him for travelling on planes whilst campaigning about climate change. The actor furiously denied claims he is a “hypocrite” and told any critics they are “missing the point”.He made the statements in a Twitter rant as his flight from Edinburgh to London was delayed due to Storm Eunice.Writing at around 12pm on Friday, Ralf told his 276,000 followers: “My Edinburgh to Heathrow flight is delayed until 1pm, but if it goes ahead, I’m totally going to film the landing and hope I can also watch it on Big Jet TV.“Also, nobody said this yet but getting [this] out ahead of it, I can tweet relentlessly about climate change and, sometimes, have to take flights without being a hypocrite.“We live in a system that we can fight to change (and I do), but we currently live in it nonetheless.“So, if like today, I have to take a flight because other options won’t work with a filming schedule, then so be it.“But I don’t take it lightly and will continue fighting for better and more eco-friendly transport infrastructure so I don’t have to in future.

And, not that it solves everything, but I carbon offset all flights because it’s something.“So, if your response to this is, ‘one rule for you’ or ‘hypocrite’ or similar, then don’t waste your time because you’re a) wildly missing the point and the bigger picture, and b) being a d**k.”Ralf later updated fans that he had arrived in London safely and the landing was as “smooth as you like”.His Twitter thread received a positive response from users, who were thrilled Ralf had made it to the capital in one piece.Jon joked: “Good to see you landed safely.
