The manager of a Dundee off-licence has launched an online name-and-shame campaign. The boss of Booze 4 U, on Albert Street, has posted photos on Facebook of customers he claims have shoplifted from the business in recent weeks..

Under the headline 'Shame on you' he has also downloaded CCTV footage from the store’s security cameras showing the alleged crimes being committed.

He has also reported the alleged incidents that happened earlier this month to Tayside Police. Writing next to two photos of a male customer seen holding a crate of lager, he wrote: “Enjoy your day pal with stolen crate of Stella, every one knows now what you do for living.“Probably take workers tax credit and steal from same working people.“Your parents and future generation will be proud of you.“Police have been informed.”And under a photo and CCTV footage of a female customer standing at the shop’s counter, he wrote: “SHAME ON THIS LADY.“You wear Michael Kor’s hand bag, designer jacket , even can buy lottery tickets but you have to steal Chocolate from the shop.“Shame on you.”Police Scotland has been contacted for comment. **Don't miss the latest headlines from around Dundee and Tayside.
