A festive dramedy has been dubbed a new holiday classic just one year after it hit cinemas. Starring Paul Giamatti, best known for his role in the 2003 biopic American Splendor, the Christmas drama tells a bittersweet story set in 1970 at an American boarding school.
A grumpy teacher named Paul Hunham is forced to stay on campus during the holiday half-term to look after students who have nowhere to go.
Although he initially detests working through the festive period, Paul soon builds an unlikely friendship with one of the troublemaking students and the school's head chef.
