Quentin Jerome Tarantino (born March 27, 1963) is an American filmmaker, actor, film programmer, and cinema owner.
His films are characterized by nonlinear storylines, satirical subject matter, aestheticization of violence, extended scenes of dialogue, ensemble casts, references to popular culture and a wide variety of other films, soundtracks primarily containing songs and score pieces from the 1960s to the 1980s, alternate history, and features of neo-noir film.
Quentin Tarantino has signed a deal with publisher Harpercollins to release two books, including a novelization of his movie Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.The novel version of the film starring Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio will be published next summer (2021), according to Deadline.com.The second book will not be a fictional work, despite Tarantino revealing he was working on a story about a World War II veteran last year (2019), but will instead be a collection of essays, reviews, and personal writings, titled Cinema Speculation.In a statement, the Pulp Fiction director says: “In the seventies movie novelizations were the first adult books I grew up reading.
