Quentin Jerome Tarantino (born March 27, 1963) is an American filmmaker, actor, film programmer, and cinema owner.
His films are characterized by nonlinear storylines, satirical subject matter, aestheticization of violence, extended scenes of dialogue, ensemble casts, references to popular culture and a wide variety of other films, soundtracks primarily containing songs and score pieces from the 1960s to the 1980s, alternate history, and features of neo-noir film.
Two years after his Once Upon a Time in Hollywood movie was released, and just as his new novel based on the movie was released, Quentin Tarantino is opening up about early casting rumors involving Jennifer Lawrence.Back in 2017, rumors surfaced that the 30-year-old actress was in contention for a role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which many speculated was for the Sharon Tate role that was ultimately played by Margot Robbie.However, Tarantino opened up about the early casting process in an interview with Marc Maron on his WTFpodcast, where he revealed he was actually considering her for the role of Sqeaky Fromme, played by Dakota Fanning.
