Queen Elizabeth II thrilled spectators when she appeared on the balcony of Buckingham Palace on the final day of her Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

After being forced to miss some events during the celebrations due to ‘mobility issues’, the 96 year old monarch tied off the four day celebration with one final public appearance.The Queen stepped out onto the balcony with her family, namely Prince William and Kate Middleton and their three children, and her son Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

She looked touched as she waved to the crowds The Queen, who is known for wearing colourful ensembles, donned a green outfit with a matching hat as she looked out over tens of thousands of people on The Mall in London.
