Queen's incredible near miss at Emmerdale after filming of explosion went wrong

This Morning was again dedicated to memories and tributes for the Queen today (September 13) as the nation continues its period of national mourning following her death last week.

Soap expert Sharon Marshall joined hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield to discuss some of the occasions when Her Majesty visited the sets of some of the nation's best loved soaps: EastEnders, Coronation Street and Emmerdale.

While hours of meticulous planning takes place for all of the Queen's engagement, Sharon revealed that things "went a bit wrong" during her day on the Emmerdale set.

Speaking about the 2002 incident, Sharon said: "She went to see the actual scene of the post office being blown up and a piece of wood apparently blew a lot closer than everyone was expecting." She added: "She doesn't flinch.
