Oprah Winfrey believes that the Queen's death and funeral will be an “opportunity for peacemaking” for Prince William and Prince Harry.

The US talkshow host interviewed Harry and wife Meghan Markle in their first bombshell interview since stepping down as senior royals and leaving the UK.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex left the Firm in 2020, causing a rift between them and the rest of the royals, writes the Mirror.The couple have had a strained relationship with their extended family since moving to the States and making California their home, as they have often spoken about their difficulties in the family to US media outlets.

Speaking to Oprah in 2021, Harry talked about how he needed to break the cycle and bring his family up away from the Royal Family and the glare of publicity.During their interview with Oprah, Meghan alleged racism and that an unnamed royal had questioned what would be the skin colour of her future child.
