Sharing the post on Stir-up Sunday – the Sunday before the beginning of Advent – the chefs have revealed how to make a Christmas pudding fit for the Queen and explained why the pud is made weeks in advance of the big day.They wrote: “Today is Stir-up Sunday: traditionally the day when home cooks ‘stir up’ their Christmas pudding mixture on the Sunday before the Advent season - and the countdown to Christmas - begins.
