Queen Latifah To Host The 47th Kennedy Center Honors

Grammy, Emmy and Golden Globe-winning multi-hyphenate Queen Latifah will host the 47th annual Kennedy Center Honors, to be broadcast Dec.

22 on CBS and stream on Paramount+, the network and John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts announced today. The annual gala, which will be televised at 8:30 p.m.

ET and 8 p.m. PT, will mark first-time hosting duties for Latifah. The Academy Award nominee was among the recipients of the 2023 Kennedy Center Honors.

As previously announced, this year’s honors will be bestowed upon filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola, rock band Grateful Dead, blues and rock singer-songwriter Bonnie Raitt, jazz trumpeter, pianist and composer Arturo Sandoval and the venue The Apollo, which will receive a special Honors as a historic American institution.
