Another difficult goodbye. Sir Michael Oswald, former racing advisor and longtime friend of Queen Elizabeth II, passed away at age 86, Us Weekly can confirm.The racing expert died on Saturday, April 17, the same day as the monarch’s late husband Prince Philip’s funeral.
Oswald’s death came just days before the Queen’s 95th birthday on Wednesday, April 21.Oswald began managing the royal studs in the 1970s and held the role for 28 years.
