Roger Taylor has revealed that he still keeps a 20ft statue of Freddie Mercury in his garden. The iconic Queen drummer, 71, claimed the towering sculpture - used to promote the musical We Will Rock You - after it was left lying around in storage after the production ended.
The statue - which depicts the band's lead singer in an iconic pose - had been on display outside London's Dominion Theatre for 12 years before the show came to an end in 2014.
Now it has pride of place at the musician's luxe Surrey home. Roger and bandmate Brian May both performed during the long-running musical's final performance, which saw Roger ask for the statue to be "put on a lorry" and brought to his pad.
