The Queen has discussed her husband Prince Philip's death for the first time in public on Saturday 2 October. Queen Elizabeth II, 95, remembered the "many happy memories" she shared with her husband, who died in April this year.The Queen made to touching speech as she appeared at the official opening of the Scottish Parliament in Holyrood's debating chamber at lunchtime on Saturday.
Prince Philip passed away in April and the Queen has written a number of social media tributes to her husband but has not spoken in person.
