Queen denied Harry and Meghan's 'inappropriate' living request, says expert

While Prince Harry and Meghan Markle currently live in a sprawling California mansion with their two children, they didn't always have the home of their dreams.

At the beginning of their relationship, Meghan, 40, moved into her other half's small two-bedroom cottage at Kensington Palace – not too far away from Harry's brother Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton's home.

Following their wedding on 19 May 2018, it's been reported the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wanted a bigger space to start their family.

According to The Sunday Times, the couple went to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II to ask for permission to live at Windsor Castle.
