Queen Camilla supports her King in black as emotional Charles greets crowds

Camilla, the new Queen Consort supported her husband, King Charles III as they arrived back in London following the death of Queen Elizabeth II on Thursday, 8 September.

King Charles and Camilla touched down in London this afternoon, after flying from Scotland and leaving Balmoral, where the Queen passed away.

Camilla appeared both sad and stoic as she and Charles stepped out of their plane and greeted staff and RAF members.They then travelled to Buckingham Palace in an official car before stepping out and greeting huge crowds that had been lined up for hours waiting to see the new King.

The royal couple then walked to view flowers from well-wishers that were lined up outside Buckingham Palace in tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth.
