Queen Camilla has said that King Charles is "doing fine" but is a bit of a rebel and "he won't slow down and won't do what he's told".
She revealed these bits of information during her arrival at the second annual Queen's Reading Room Literary Festival held at Hampton Court Palace on Saturday 8 June, where she had a discussion with the thriller author, Lee Child.
Sharing what Camilla disclosed to him with the press, Child joked it "sounds to me like a typical husband". Queen Camilla was welcomed by the chairman of Historic Royal Palaces, Sir Nicholas Coleridge, among other dignitaries, including Vicky Perrin, who is the chief executive of the Queen's Reading Room, and famed authors like Harlan Coben.
Charles, who is 75, had received treatment in a hospital located in London last Tuesday, just mere hours before he delivered a speech at D-Day commemorations.
