Queen Camilla's Reading Room charity has gone from strength to strength ever since it launched on Instagram in January 2021.
While reading has long been a refuge for Her Majesty, she has many other key charitable focuses which have been celebrated - and even prompted surprise - over the years.
One of these topics of interest is supporting domestic violence charities and raising the profile of disadvantaged women across the world.
Speaking exclusively to OK!, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond explained why she believes Queen Camilla will be stunned by the success of her Reading Room charity and why her other causes have her pegged as a "fiercely modern feminist." Speaking ahead of The Queen's Reading Room Festival which takes place at Hampton Court Palace on Sunday, June 11, Jennie said: "The Queen is absolutely passionate about reading and saw huge success when she launched her Reading Room charity on Instagram. "She has read since she was young and loves nothing more than sitting quietly with King Charles and reading in separate corners of the same room. "I think she has probably be surprised - and thrilled - by the success of this literary venture but she remains loyal to her other charities and causes, particularly domestic violence.
