The Queen reportedly banned cameras from capturing her first meeting with great-granddaughter Lilibet. On Monday, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle released a brand new official picture of their baby daughter Lilibet as they reflected on the little girl's first birthday.

And it has now been revealed that the 96 year old monarch met the adorable youngster for the first time on Thursday - the first day of her Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

However, according to The Sun, Her Majesty, who paid a touching tribute to her late husband Prince Philip, said "no" to a private photographer being present for her meeting with little Lilibet.

The Queen was reportedly keen for the interaction to stay a "private family meeting". Meanwhile, Lilibet was adorable as she grinned in the snap shared by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
