It’s day three of the Punchestown Festival and it could be an even bigger day for Willie Mullins after his four-timer yesterday.
He has the favourite in the Grade 1 Champion Stayers' Hurdle (5.25) with last year's winner Klassical Dream , but he will have to beat recent Aintree winner Sire Du Berlais and former Festival champion Paisley Park.
At 6.35, Mullins’ horse Gentleman Du Mee – a scorching winner when downing Edwardstone last time at Aintree – takes on the best of the two mile novice chasers including Arkle second and third Gabynako and Blue Lord as well as other classy type Saint Sam.
We're also over the banks in the La Touche Cup (4.50) with Enda Bolger looking extend his great record in the race with hot favourite Shady Operator.
