When it comes to streetwear some celebrities have it down to a fine art, and there’s one thing most of their looks have in common – chunky trainers. The style was first popular in the 2000s, and it seems plenty of celebs have been adding them to their outfits to help nail the current love for Y2K fashion.

From Hailey Bieber’s retro-inspired New Balance 530 trainers, £100 here, to Kylie Jenner’s Nike Dunks, £109.95 here, it seems like the 00s favourite oversized footwear is officially back, and it’s here to stay.

Puma already counts A-listers like Rihanna and Selena Gomez fans, with them often spotted wearing a pair of the brand’s trainers as part of their more low key street style outfits, and now the sportswear brand has launched a pair of Y2K-inspired trainers that are guaranteed to be heading straight to the top of this autumn’s trending lists.

The Puma 180 trainers, £90 here, are inspired by 00s skate culture and have the classic retro look that was popular in the early 2000s.
