A pub has warned other local businesses to 'be careful' after a family left their premises without paying a bill of more than £100 for Sunday lunch.

Staff at The Sun Inn, in the village of Everton in Nottinghamshire, said a family-of-six visited the pub for lunch on Sunday, March 13.

After the whole family tucked into roast dinners, sides and drinks, pub staff said they racked up a £114 bill and then walked out without paying it.

The pub is now cautioning other businesses in the hospitality industry as they said they are not the first pub in the area to be targeted, reports Nottinghamshire Live.
