Paris Saint-Germain are hopeful that Kylian Mbappe will be fit to face Manchester City in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final clash on Wednesday.
The forward was forced off with a thigh problem in PSG's 3-1 win over Metz on Saturday and manager Mauricio Pochettino was optimistic about Mbappe's chances of featuring against City. "We think he's okay and that he'll be ready for Wednesday," Pochettino told Canal+. "We reviewed the action, we see the blow.
We are not worried about him." In a separate update, he added: "We hope it's not too serious. Kylian was calm when he was replaced but even a simple knock is always painful." PSG also have a number of other injury concerns, with several players facing a race to be fit in time
