Gamers across Britain are still waiting for more PS5s to be stocked as it emerges a riot broke out when consoles were put on sale in Japan.
Tills were knocked over and staff evacuated at an electronics store in Tokyo on Saturday after a first come, first served basis was announced.
Crowds flocked to the shop in chaotic scenes, prompting police to arrive to clear the area - leaving the PS5s unsold, reports suggest.
An eyewitness said: "I've never seen that kind of insanity in Japan before." The news comes as the popular console remains in short supply in Britain, with thousands still waiting to get their hands on the tech.
