New PlayStation 5 stock is being added today at two retailers – Very.co.uk and Argos. PS5 fans have been desperate to get their hands on the console since its launch in 2020 – but retailers are struggling to keep up with demand.

So those who want to get their hands on Sony’s newest console have to stay eagle-eyed and plan for the next drop. Argos had a big PS5 restock throughout the night, which meant customers were queueing into the early hours.

But unfortunately people were unable to checkout what they had put in their baskets. One Twitter user said: "You would have thought that you would be prepared for the amount of traffic.
