Fred Sirieix is taking his daughter Andrea, 17, to New York after the teenager proved victorious at this year’s Commonwealth Games and was awarded gold for the Women’s Diving 10m Platform.
Fred was ever the proud dad and was pictured beaming from ear-to-ear in wake of Andrea’s success at her first ever Games. The teenage diver came out on top in the preliminary round, and further secured first place in the final five dives.
She went on to secure a whopping 357.50 pints, with her teammate Lois Mae Toulson not far behind with 337.30 points. Following Andrea’s gold medal and her 18th birthday just around the corner, First Dates star Fred has revealed that he’s taking his daughter to New York. “We are going to take her to New York in September when she turns 18.
We’ll spend a few days there as she’s never been. She’s always wanted to go,” he told MailOnline. Discussing Andrea’s gold medal, Fred said it was deserved “after ten years of hard work and dedication”.Read more on ok.co.uk
