Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas welcome baby via surrogate

The couple, who wed in December 2018, and are now the proud parents of a baby born via a surrogate. Priyanka, 39, and Nick, 29, posted matching statements on Instagram simultaneously on Friday evening.
They read: "We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. "We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family.Thank you so much." Many of the couple's famous friends, including Nick's bandmate brothers, soon shared their congratulations underneath the posts.
Joe and Kevin Jonas left heart emojis under each picture, while music producer Ryan Tedder wrote "Omg HUGE CONGRAAAAAATS WOW WOW WOW" on Nick's and "MAAASSSIVE MASSIVE CONGRAAAAATS!!!!!!" on Priyanka's.
