Congratulations are in order for Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank this week as they celebrate five years of marital bliss. The couple tied the knot at St George’s Chapel, Windsor on October 12, 2018 and have since gone on to have two sons, August and Ernest.
Eugenie isn’t the only York sibling basking in the glow of her happily ever after as big sister Princess Beatrice and husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, continue to go from strength to strength.
The couple married in a private ceremony in July 2020 and are parents to daughter Sienna, and to Edo’s son from a previous relationship, Christopher Woolf - affectionately known as ‘Wolfie’.Their stable and loving marriages are proof that the Princesses have learnt from their parents’ mistakes - the Duke and Duchess of York were married for just six years before they joined the ranks of three senior royal couples to divorce in 1992.
Despite this, Prince Andrew and Sarah still live together in Windsor and have a close friendship. In fact Sarah, who also celebrates her 64th birthday this week as she continues to recover following her Breast Cancer diagnosis, admits they are “the most contented divorced couple in the world”.The Duke and Duchess will have felt a sense of relief recently after it emerged that the King will allow Andrew to stay at Royal Lodge in Windsor.
