Prince Harry has recently spoken so openly about how relationships with a lot of his family have been strained, however he has always been close to one of his cousin's - Princess Eugenie.
The pair have always been close, going on family holidays as kids and clubbing together in later years, writes The Mirror.In his brand new memoir, Spare, Harry talks about the special night he introduced his now wife, Meghan Markle to Eugenie, saying they got on well right away and it wasn't before long they were cuddling “like sisters”.However, he also opened up about a few awkward encounters between the cousins, including when Eugenie phoned him to ask about a date that didn’t end as well as expected.The Princess introduced her cousin to her pal Cressida Bonas, a model and actress, and initially they hit it off.
The pair organised a dinner date, so they could get to know each other better. And just a few weeks later a second date was arrange and Harry dropped her home afterwards.Cressida didn't invite him in but Harry went in for a goodbye kiss, however his “aim was off” leading to a very awkward moment.He writes: “She turned, I tried again on the return trip, and we managed something like a graze.
Painfully awkward.”The next day, Harry phoned Eugenie to tell her all about the unfortunate event but Cressida had already beat him to it.He writes: “Discouraged, I told her the date had gone well but the ending had left something to be desired.
