Princess Diana tragically passed away 27 years ago, following a devastating car crash in Paris in 1997.The royal left behind sons Prince William and Prince Harry, who she shared with King Charles.
Her sons have continued to honour their late mother's legacy at any opportunity, and have also given insights into what Diana was like as a parent.
The Princess was known for being a hands-on parent, ensuring her two sons' childhoods were as normal as they could be despite being members of the Royal Family.They went on day trips to theme parks, ate fast food, went on the bus and dressed like any normal children whenever possible, earning Diana huge praise.
She also kept things fun for William and Harry, as it was well-known that Diana was the prankster of the family. William previously shared one of the pranks his mother played on him, revealing that she would send him fun gifts while he was at school.The future King spoke about his late mother in the documentary, Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy, and how she would try and make him laugh while was supposed to be studying.
