Princess Charlotte's subtle and sweet gesture to the Queen shows that she is taking after her mother Kate Middleton, a body language expert has explained. The seven year old accompanied her mother Kate, dad Prince William and brothers Prince George and Prince Louis for a weekend of Jubilee celebrations for Her Majesty's seventy years on the throne.

And in the closing moments of the celebrations on Sunday afternoon, Charlotte joined the monarch, her parents, brothers, Prince Charles and Camilla on the balcony of Buckingham Palace.Taking centre stage, the youngster's quick act showed that she was emulating Kate, with Judi James stating: "Charlotte stood to attention and sang the anthem as confidently as Louis beside her, but she again showed her empathetic, caring side." Speaking to The Mirror, Judi reflected: "When Beatrice was sobbing uncontrollably during Prince Philip's memorial, it was Charlotte who threw her a concerned glance, prompting Beatrice to smile to show she was ok. "Here it was Charlotte throwing a similar look of caring concern to her great grandmother as the family sang the National Anthem.

Judi said that she "seems to have inherited the trait from Kate" who was busy "stroking Louis constantly to keep him happy" and "bending down to his height to talk to him once he had taken his place in the line-up." Kate's parenting during the Jubilee weekend was praised by Supernanny Jo Frost.

Rather than losing her cool as an energetic Louis enjoyed the weekend's festivities, Kate could be seen holding her ground as she encouraged the Prince to behave, while also letting him know that his behaviour wasn't acceptable in the current situation.
