Princess Beatrice may have given a huge clue about her future role in the Royal Family by stepping in for Prince William at a major UK event recently.The royals were recently called into action when Japanese Emperor Naruhito, a university friend of King Charles III, arrived in the country.The Emperor, who ascended to the Chrysanthemum Throne in 2019, has been enjoying a week of grandeur and ceremony, accompanied by various royals for state events while the Prime Minister and other key officials are busy.

Prince William, being one of the higher-ranking royals, played a significant part in the visit, which meant that 35 year old Beatrice was brought in to take on another one of his responsibilities.

According to the Daily Express, she joined investors and philanthropists who had gathered to "explore water as an emerging investment theme", as reported by a Beatrice fan account in a post on X.
