One nickname that is slightly more unusual is the one Princess Anne, 73, uses for her older brother King Charles, 75. She was heard using the name in the 2023 documentary, Charles III: The Coronation Year, when she saw her sibling at Buckingham Palace after the coronation.
Rare behind the scenes footage showed the Princess Royal approaching Charles and saying: "Hello, Old Bean." The King laughed before taking Anne's hand and kissing it.
While Anne's nickname for Charles may seem unusual, it is said to be a reflection of the pair's close relationship.The duo are the eldest children of the late Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, and are only two years apart in age.
