Princes Trust Award winner leaves Ant and Dec in hysterics with cheeky remark

Newcastle-born Kayleigh Taylor had the Princes Trust Awards audience giggling after making a cheeky remark to fellow Geordies Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly as she accepted her award.

Kayleigh won the NatWest Enterprise Award for her food prepping business, and was handed the award by former Spice Girl Mel C and Big Brother presenter Emma Willis.

Ant and Dec then came over to Kayleigh to chat about her win, when she made a playful remark to the pair. Noting that she was from Newcastle, Ant said to Kayleigh: “You’ve done canny well, like.” Laughing, Kayleigh replied: “So have you!” as Ant and Dec began to chuckle at her sweet response.

Viewers of the Awards ceremony, which took place earlier this week, took to social media to gush over how “inspiring” all the winners were. “Loving these #PrincesTrustAwards so inspiring & moving,” wrote one person. “#PrincesTrustAwards A fantastic charity.
