Prince William tried to show that he was “relishing his freedom” during his brief break-up with Kate Middleton, a body language expert has claimed.
The current Prince and Princess of Wales went through a brief split in spring 2007 as they were “finding themselves”. Body language expert Judi James analysed footage of William, 40, and his brother Prince Harry, 38, taken during footage of the Concert for Diana - held in 2007, a decade after their mother’s death in Paris.
During the concert, William was photographed with his arms outstretched while performing some “embarrassing” dancing - and Judi claimed this was the prince’s attempt to show his future wife that he was capable of enjoying himself without her.
She told the Express: “This hilarious clip shows it wasn’t always Harry doing the comedy moments in the royal Firm and that older brother William was quite capable of embarrassing Harry with some uninhibited dad-dancing. “There is the strong hint William is trying to boast to Kate that he is relishing his freedom and is capable of having the most fun time without her." Judi added that William's elbows "are raised in geezer mode and his neck-wobble hints at a touch of rebellion. The body language expert said William’s attempts to show he was making the most of single life “failed hilariously” - adding he “clearly wasn’t suited to this kind of body language ritual”.
