Despite losing out in the World Cup, the England Lionesses have done the country proud as they made their first-ever final. Spain went 1-0 up in the 29th minute through an Olga Carmona goal, and they didn't look back.
England threw everything at the Spanish side, but sadly they just couldn't find a way past the Spanish goalkeeper Cata Coll.
However, the European Champions can still be incredibly proud of themselves for all that they have achieved over the course of the tournament.The Prince and Princess of Wales have led the good wishes to the team following the defeat.
