Prince William travelled to Wales to celebrate St David's Day, spending the day at a pub with a Hollywood star.Whilst Kate Middleton recuperates at home after her abdominal surgery, William headed to Wrexham in north Wales to visit The Turf pub near Wrexham AFC's football ground.This dated pub is best known after it appeared in the TV show 'Welcome To Wrexham'.
At The Turf, William met staff, local people, and charity workers and discussed how the pub helps the community and supports good causes.The future monarch also learned about how the football club has got better in the last three years after Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney purchased it, reports The Mirror Online.William enjoyed a whisky alongside Rob, whilst Reynolds tended to business in America.A royal spokesperson said: "Unfortunately, Ryan Reynolds is editing the new Deadpool movie in the US and sadly couldn't make it.
He does however look forward to seeing the prince later this year."The Prince of Wales appeared to enjoy himself at the pub, taking selfies and chatting with fans.
He was also introduced to 3-year-old Florence who gifted him a daffodil and blew him a kiss.Later today, Prince William will go to a local school to join in more St David's Day fun.He will also learn about the Gresford mining disaster with the help of the kids and the Wrexham Miners Rescue Station.The prince will finish up his engagements by paying respects at the Gresford Colliery Disaster Memorial, which remembers one of the most serious disasters in British coal mining history, to recognise the 266 men who lost their lives 90 years ago.More than 500 men were trapped underground following the explosion in the mine in the early hours of the morning, with the number of workers on
