When asked how his year had been after a difficult time for all the family during his visit to South Africa, Prince William said: "It's been dreadful.
It's probably been the hardest year in my life. So, trying to get through everything else and keep everything on track has been really difficult.” In a video message in September, Kate revealed she had finished her chemotherapy treatment, and King Charles has now returned back to public duties.
Speaking on how proud he is of both of them, William said: "I'm so proud of my wife, I'm proud of my father, for handling the things that they have done.
