Prince William and Kate Middleton share beautiful tribute to Queen on 96th birthday

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge posted a loving tribute to the Queen for her 96th birthday. Prince William and Kate Middleton praised to the monarch as she celebrated her birthday on Thursday, sharing a couple of photos on Instagram of personal moments with the Queen in their tribute.

In one shot, the 96 year old is seen in conversation with the Duke and Duchess outdoors, wearing a bright yellow coat with white gloves and a purple printed dress underneath.The second image was taken by Kate herself and shows the monarch with the late Prince Philip as they sat with their great-grandchildren, Prince George — who was pictured sporting matching tartan to his great-grandmother — Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte.

The snap shows her stood in between two white Cobs horses. The Queen is dressed in a dark olive green coat while holding onto the reins of each horse and flashing a smile.The portrait highlights the monarch’s lifetime affection for horses, having owned several and ridden for much of her life up until last September, when she reportedly had to stop due to “discomfort”.
