The Prince of Wales invited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Harry and Meghan, to meet crowds of well-wishers outside Windsor Castle to show 'unity' after the death of Queen Elizabeth, Royal sources have claimed.
Prince William is said to have hailed the walkabout as 'an important show of unity at an incredibly difficult time for the family'.
Together with the Princess of Wales, they inspected floral tributes and spoke to gathered members of the public for a total of 40 minutes earlier this evening. READ MORE: The Wales' are said to have offered the Sussexes a last-minute invitation to join them, reports The Mirror.
Dressed all in black, the couples arrived together in one car before spending time chatting to those outside the castle and looking at the massed flowers and tributes.
