Fans around the world have enjoyed seeing adorable Prince Louis during the Coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey. The youngest child of the Prince and Princess of Wales yawned and chatted to his sister Princess Charlotte during the service, which saw his grandfather King Charles III and Queen Camilla crowned.

However, many viewers were left baffled when the Prince appeared to go missing and wasn't alongside his parents Kate and William, during some of the ceremony.

The reason has now been revealed that despite going into the Abbey with his family he was "retired" during the service, because of his age, but returned to his family for the procession back to Buckingham Palace at the end of the ceremony.

Louis, who was sat with his parents before his departure, was also seen telling his sister Charlotte wave, according to a lip reader, in heart-warming scenes during their car journey.
