Charles, Prince of Wales (Charles Philip Arthur George; born 14 November 1948) is the heir apparent to the British throne as the eldest son of Elizabeth II. He has been Duke of Cornwall and Duke of Rothesay since 1952, and he is the oldest and longest-serving heir apparent in British history.
He is also the longest-serving Prince of Wales, having held that title since 1958. Charles was born at Buckingham Palace as the first grandchild of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. He was educated at Cheam and Gordonstoun schools, which his father, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, had attended as a child. Charles also spent a year at the Timbertop campus of Geelong Grammar School in Victoria, Australia.
Prince Harry will reportedly not meet jointly with his brother Prince William and father Prince Charles when he flies in from the US for the statue unveiling of his late mother, Princess Diana.
The Stateside royal will be coming back to the UK for the event, set to take place on July 1, which would have been Princess Diana's 60th birthday, at the Sunken Garden of Kensington Palace.
However, The Sun has claimed that Charles, 72, will be on a trip to Scotland by the time Harry leaves quarantine, and therefore, the pair will be unable to meet.
A source told the publication. "Charles will leave the boys to it. Harry will need to quarantine for at least five days when he lands in England, most likely at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor.
