Prince Harry stepped down as a senior member of the Royal family in 2020, but his identity crisis began much earlier.He recounted acquiring a new identity during a gap year in Australia in 2003, where he worked as a jackaroo (also known as a cowboy) at Tooloombilla Station.
In his book Spare, Prince Harry revealed how he earned the nickname 'Spike'. He shared that his shock of ginger hair 'never recovered' after he let his Eton friends shave his head back at school - and it started growing back in strands that 'shot up like summer grass. ' This was when his new identity emerged, reports the Mirror.
Harry even altered his accent to match his new persona.
