The role of Prince Harry at the King's Coronation in May has been revealed.The Duke will play a minimal role at the historic event and, to further intensify the ongoing feud, brothers Harry and Prince William will not be seen in a camera shot together, an insider has said.
Reports indicate Harry will be sitting with other non-working members of the Royal Family including the likes of Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie and their husbands, reports the Mirror.The Prince, who now lives in California, is not expected to take part in either the King’s Procession or the Coronation Procession to and from Buckingham Palace, nor will he be on the Buckingham Palace balcony.Insiders said Harry was aware the Coronation will be "pretty much the most important day" of the King's life.According to insiders, Harry demanded a summit with King Charles and Prince William to discuss their issues before the Coronation.A source said: "Harry has been very clear and his position hasn't wavered – he isn't going to come if he feels the atmosphere will be as toxic as it was during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and funeral."He's said he wants to reconcile with his family and it’s their call, but so far nothing has changed."Prince Harry was recently confirmed to be attending the huge royal affair, but his wife Meghan Markle and the King's grandchildren will be absent.
