King Charles had planned to give his granddaughter Lilibet a very lavish gift for her second birthday - before Prince Harry handed him a 'warning' on what to purchase.
The monarch was instructed to opt for a 'less extravagant' gift than he had planned by his second-born son, according to OK!
Magazine. A source said Charles had "his aides looking at custom-made cubby houses, similar to what the queen and Princess Margaret had when they were girls." The insider added: "He wants to give Lili something she will use and be hers.
She’ll remember it forever – it’s going to be the ultimate surprise."However, it's unclear whether the King heeded Harry's wishes or went all out for the youngster, who is seventh in line to the throne.
