Prince Harry and Prince William are speaking out in a rare joint statement about how they will be honoring their late mom Princess Diana next year.
The brothers will be installing a statue of Diana in the Sunken Garden of Kensington Palace on July 1, 2021 – the day she would have celebrated her 60th birthday. “The statue was commissioned to mark the twentieth anniversary of her death and recognize her positive impact in the UK and around the world,” the statement read (via E!
News). “The Princes hope that the statue will help all those who visit Kensington Palace to reflect on their mother’s life and her legacy.” Ian Rank-Broadley has been commissioned to create the statue.
