Prince Harry has opened up about his heartache over having to leave Frogmore Cottage, the Windsor Castle abode that was once his and Meghan Markle's first Royal residence.Gifted to the couple by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 2019, Frogmore Cottage saw extensive renovations funded by the pair after they initially faced public scrutiny for using taxpayer money, which they later reimbursed.Their stay at the five-bedroom property, however, was fleeting; by the close of 2019, they had stepped back from Royal duties and by 2020, they had moved out.
The early days of Harry and Meghan's romance, including moments at Frogmore, were captured in their Netflix documentary series.

He said: "Once upon a time, this was going to be my forever home. Instead it had proved to be just another brief stop."In his book, Prince Harry alleged that he and Meghan were 'evicted' from their Frogmore Cottage home following their decision to step back from Royal duties.
