Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

'Prince Harry must not follow Meghan Markle's example - their innocent children will suffer'

Ever since Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, relocated to the US in 2020, their relationships with senior members of the Royal Family have been publicly strained.

As a result, the couple and their two young children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, have spent very little time in the UK with the Windsor side of the family, particularly with their grandfather, King Charles.

This, former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond says, is something which is causing Archie and Lilibet to suffer as she expresses her hope that Harry will not continue to follow Meghan's example when it comes to family quarrels. "Having grandchildren is a powerful tug on the heartstrings," Jennie exclusively tells OK! "Little people who are part of your bloodline and have had nothing to do with family quarrels and tensions.

Utterly innocent tiny tots who deserve to know and love their grandparents. "So I can imagine that the King very much wants the chance to get to know Archie and Lilibet and to create some memories for them.The children may provide the most compelling link between Charles and Harry, and convince them both to forgive, if not forget, the bitter rows of the past. "I fervently hope that Harry will not follow Meghan’s example of remaining obdurately estranged from her father and most of her family.
